The toil of the dedicated grassroot must not be in Vain

Following from afar through radio commentary,Facebook and other handles I realised a certain communicators name being mentioned always by his constant defence for the MP for ASSIN SOUTH and the Npp party as whole.

He defended the MP even when all executives had left the camp of the current Mp.

The leadership of the party in the region shouldn’t allow all the toil this gentleman CHAKONI as he is affectionately called by fellow grassroots people be in vain.

Our party should not allow people with riches to come in at the eleventh hour to make some few donations after all the dirty works are done by the grassroots to snatch the position deemed fit for the grassroots person.

It’s about time the party apply meritocracy in it’s dealings.

Mr FREDRICK DANQUAH deserves the DCE position. I plead on the party executives to be rewarding good deeds rather than last minute showmanship.

Why must we allow someone to quit his lucrative job for another appointment meant for a dedicated grassroots youth who understands his people much better

NPP REWARD OUR LOYALTY NOW BEFORE WE ALL LIVE.

THE YOUTH ARE THE FUTURE OF THE PARTY,LET NOT YOUR ACTIONS AND IN ACTIONS KILL OUR SPIRIT.

I AM FOR CHAKONI FOR ASSIN SOUTH DCE

No lives were lost in the inferno but the 3-bedroom house got razed down.

A relative of Akua Sakina told the Media that, this is the second attempt on her life by the suspect as he had earlier poisoned her food.

The two lovers, according to the relative are related by blood and that all efforts by the family to get Kofi Bokor to back-off from Sakina have landed on rocks.

Assin Tomfokro Basic School Block Collapses, Pupils Study Under Trees

Pupils of Assin Tomfokro Basic School have been studying under trees, weeks after school reopened. The situation is due to the collapse of their classroom block which was in a dilapidated state for years.
Community members say there have been numerous appeals to successive governments to attend to their situation but nothing has been done to salvage their plight.
This is the state of Assin Tomfokro D/A primary school in the Assin South District of the Central Region.

The rickety classroom block which was constructed by the community members in 1961 has not seen any reconstruction nor rehabilitation by the government.
The classroom block remained in bad shape until its current state which has rendered the teachers and learners classless.
Kindergarten to stage six pupils now study under trees because of the poor state of their classroom block.

A GETFUND classroom project which was started under Former President Kuffour’s era is still not completed.
Teachers say the experience of teaching under such a condition has been challenging.

The Apagyahen of Assin Atandanso Traditional Area and Chief of Tomfokro, Nana Danfo Amoako in an interview with g-newsnetwork disclosed that teachers of the school have threatened to apply for transfer from the school, if the situation remains the same.
“The Teachers have threatened to leave the School by next year. Due to their situation, the pupils are not performing. The standard of education is really low here”.
